Do you hate those prolonged trips to the dentist when you need a lot of work completed? Now you can condense some of those appointments into just one, thanks to CEREC technology. With advanced training in CEREC, Dr. LeBlanc, DMD, can provide you with any type of general dentistry.
CEREC is a product that allows the dental practitioner to produce indirect ceramic dental restoration by using a variety of computer-assisted technologies, including 3-D photography and CAD/CAM; the restoration of a tooth (or teeth) can be performed in a single visit. The cavity preparation is first photographed and stored as a 3-D digital model. Proprietary software is then used to approximate the restoration shape using biogenetic comparisons to surrounding teeth. The practitioner then refines that model using 3-D CAD software. When the model is complete, a milling machine carves the actual restoration out of a ceramic block, using diamond-head cutters under computer control. Finally, the restoration is bonded to the tooth using a resin.
Dr. LeBlanc was trained in cosmetic dentistry at the world-renowned Center for Aesthetic Dentistry in Las Vegas, Nevada. From simple fillings to full crowns and veneers, CEREC can deliver the results you are looking for in a single appointment. Dr. LeBlanc is also trained in Waterlase® dentistry. This is a patented technology combining laser energy and a spray of water, a process called HydroPhotonics™, to perform a wide range of dental procedures on teeth, gum, and bone more comfortably. Typically, this process requires fewer injections and less anesthesia, and is done without the use of traditional tools such as drills and scalpels, thereby reducing patient anxiety, while providing a more relaxing dental experience.
Dr. LeBlanc will determine what type of treatment is appropriate for your needs, so call the office today for an appointment.
Hours: Monday, 11 am – 8 pm; Tuesday, 9 am – 5pm; Wednesday, 7:30 am – noon; Thursday, 9 am – 6 pm. Closed Friday through Sunday.
