While a student at MIT, Dr. John Taylor felt a need to be surrounded by and care for other people, which is why he went on to pursue a career in medicine. That ultimately led him to create a compassionate and caring environment at Allure Plastic Surgery Center. Dr. Taylor’s goal is to understand and empathize with what ails his patients and then offer his best solution to help you feel better about yourself. He realizes plastic surgery heals the human body and often the soul.
The practice offers a variety of plastic and reconstructive surgery, including cosmetic surgery of the face, breast and body, post-bariatric body contouring, skin cancer reconstruction, gender reassignment surgery, and post-mastectomy reconstruction of the breast. A host of other procedures are offered as well, such as BOTOX® Cosmetic, injectable soft tissue fillers, Obagi Blue Peel® and home skincare products. All surgery is performed in an affiliated local hospital or accredited ambulatory surgery center, under the care of a board certified anesthesiologist. From consultation through postoperative care, patients will be met by pleasant, understanding and compassionate staff members. Ensuring comfort is a priority, whether it is through individualized attention from staff, amenities provided during your post-operative recovery, or recuperation time spent at one of the hotels or bed and breakfasts here on the Jersey Shore.
Dr. Taylor’s primary concerns are your safety and your happiness with the results. He strives to involve you in the decision-making process from the start, offering a professional opinion based on years of training and experience, but always respecting your opinion and desires. If he feels that a non-surgical alternative will better help achieve your goal, he will suggest that as a possibility rather than subject you to potentially unnecessary surgery.
