Lowy’s Moving Service has been one of the most highly respected movers in the greater  Monmouth County area since 1924. President Keith Lowy, third-generation owner, keeps the core values that his grandfather based Lowy’s on nearly 90 years ago. “Honesty, dependability  and service have always been Lowy’s most valued assets,” Keith says. “My grandfather used to travel to train stations to pick up people who were moving to the area. He would then carry their luggage and deliver it himself.” Lowy’s has grown to become one of the most convenient and prestigious moving and storage services in New Jersey. “Lowy’s Moving Service has accomplished more than 400,000 intrastate and interstate moves, 200,000 shipments of high value sensitive equipment and over 75,000 office and industrial moves,” he says. “We have a network of thousands of additional resources in North America and internationally.”

For interstate moves, Lowy’s operates under the ICC authority of Wheaton Van Lines, Inc.  Lowy’s maintains a professional appearance throughout the moving process. All their movers are  uniformed, trained and experienced in all phases of commercial and residential moving. “We have a  professional, courteous staff and very low employee turnover rate,” Keith says. “Our capabilities  include systems, furniture and equipment installation and disposal, 150,000 square feet of storage facilities for household goods, commercial equipment or sensitive electronics. We also perform rigging and relocation or removal of computer equipment.”

Three years ago, Adam Lowy saw the potential of donating the food people typically throw away  when they move. He spearheaded the creation of Move for Hunger, a charity that teams up with  relocation companies across the country and has movers pick up the unwanted, non-perishable  food items from those who are moving and deliver it to local food banks. “It’s something no one  really thinks about, but it was an easy way to start donating to those who need it,” Adam says.

Use Lowy’s for your next relocation and help those in need in your community.
