QuickChek Opens Newest Store In Morganville

New Q Café, Fall Comfort Food Add Flavor To Neighborhood Needs — Market Leader Creates New Local Jobs

QuickChek, a leader in food services with an exceptional fresh coffee and fresh food program that has been voted the best in America, is boosting Morganville’s morning routine and its economy.

The Whitehouse Station, NJ-based fresh convenience market chain opened a new 5,496-square-foot store at 483A Route 79 in the Morganville section of Marlboro Township on Tuesday, October 27.

Much more than a typical convenience store, QuickChek has grown to be the market leader in the New York metropolitan area through innovation and its focus on fresh products and friendly employees.

QuickChek stores provide one-stop shopping, offering a wide variety of grocery and market items including fresh baked goods from an in-store bakery and excellent customer service provided by locally hired team members. Its award-winning food and beverage program features touch-screen technology which allows consumers to create custom-made oven-toasted subs, sandwiches, wraps and salads. The company prides itself on its fresh-brewed coffee, which consumers voted the best coffee in America in a national survey conducted by Technomic.

The new store will be open 24 hours a day and feature a Q Café, which offers nearly 40 varieties of handcrafted hot and iced cold coffees, iced caramel macchiato, fresh brewed cappuccinos, lattes and espressos, blended-to-order real fruit smoothies, and decadent frozen treats; and a new fall comfort food menu featuring six different Mac & Cheese bowls starting at $3.99, and Walking Tacos, a great anytime on-the-go snack.

Additional amenities include no-fee ATMs which provide additional added value to consumers; indoor seating for 13 and outdoor seating for eight; eight fueling stations offering high-quality fuel at value prices; and 48 parking spaces. The store will have a generator on-site to guarantee that 24-hour service is available to meet the needs of the community including first responders.

The store will employ 30 people, most of who live locally. Each new store typically generates approximately $1 million in tax revenue, adding to the positive impact on the local economy.

“We look forward to becoming the neighborhood shopping destination for those who live and work in the area,” said QuickChek CEO Dean Durling, whose family-owned company operates 142 retail locations throughout New Jersey, New York’s Hudson Valley and Long Island.

Modern by industry standards, the company maintains bright clean stores, well-lighted fuel stations and parking lots with wide, easy-to-use entrances and exits that add to a shopper’s convenience.

The privately-held company has been named one of the most generous companies in the state by New Jersey Monthly magazine, having raised hundreds of thousands of dollars each year for a variety of local causes benefiting children, families, and military veterans.

Dedicated to the communities it serves, QuickChek will donate $0.25 for every sub, sandwich and wrap sold in the store from Oct. 27-Nov. 26, 2015 to the Marlboro Junior Mustangs Wrestling program.

Grand Opening promotions include free medium coffee and free 20-ounce iced coffee offered to all patrons and free 20-ounce fountain or QuickFreeze drinks for children 5-feet-tall-and-under from Oct. 27-Nov. 8, 2015. All 6-inch subs are on sale for $2.99 and Q Café handcrafted specialty drinks will be available for a limited time for $1.99.
